In 1967, on August 1, Ayukhanov Bulat Gazizovich founded the first in the history of culture and art, not only in Kazakhstan, but also in the Soviet Union, the ensemble of choreographic miniatures «Young Ballet of Alma-Ata», becoming its permanent director, teacher, performer and concertmaster, which he directs to this day. In 2003, Ayukhanov’s troupe became the «State Academic Dance Theatre of the Republic of Kazakhstan». B.Ayukhanov, developing the traditions of world ballet, played an outstanding role in the formation and world recognition of the art of classical dance of the ballet soloists created by him, in which there is no traditional corps de ballet for troupes, where almost every artist has his own repertoire, which allows Bulat Ayukhanov to expand the genre possibilities of the art of ballet.
His creative impulses are contagious, which gives rise to moments of impressive coincidence of the choreographer’s creative thoughts and the response of the artists. He is not afraid of the new, even if it requires overcoming the inertia of perception, abandoning the usual stereotypes. The irrepressible spirit of search, so characteristic of youth, the pursuit of perfection and, most importantly, despite all the «ebbs and flows», inexhaustible creative enthusiasm – everything is alive in the team and is the key to its professional growth.
