The beautiful Al Hamid Mosque, which today is one of the youngest mosques in the southern capital, is located in a picturesque place near the Kok-Tobe mountain.
Made in light brown with five golden domes, the building of the Al-Hamid mosque has a unique architecture that meets modern Islamic style. At the central entrance to the mosque stands a minaret made in the traditional Islamic style. From it five times a day, an azan is read, which calls the parishioners to perform prayers. The uniqueness of the mosque is in its not only striking architecture, dazzling richness and impressive dimensions, but also in that, the external and internal decoration of the mosque attracts with its majesty, airiness, solemnity, magnificent painting and voluminous decor. The construction, designed for 2,000 believers, is large, bright and spacious. It has three large rooms: the central hall, where prayers are held, a separate namazhana for women on the second floor, and a spacious basement hall, which is equipped with modern screens, which constantly broadcast what is happening in the central hall.
One of the main elements of the decor, which emphasizes the grandeur and luxury of the interior of the mosque, is a crystal chandelier, which was specially brought from Saudi Arabia. However, the main uniqueness of the mosque lies in another: in this Muslim sanctuary, there is Kiswa, which is a black silk fabric with a pattern of gold threads, which were covered with the walls of the Kaaba outside.
The well-groomed and quality decoration clearly indicates how much sympathy and care for the parishioners it was built, the mosque is unique in its architecture and amazing in its interior decoration.
