Minor air passengers will be able to travel within Kazakhstan free of charge
The project “KIDS GO FREE”
The Kids go free project applies to tours provided by tour operators. Children who have the citizenship of Kazakhstan, or who are stateless persons with the right to permanent residence in the country fly free of charge.
From January 1, flights of minor air passengers traveling as tourists within Kazakhstan are paid by the state.
The age of children is from 2 to 18 years.
The flight will be free only with the purchase of a tour package. To receive a subsidy, the tour operator have to send an application to the national company Kazakh Tourism with the necessary documents attached. The cost of the air ticket for a minor is paid in full.
The innovation is designed to encourage Kazakhstanis to have a rest with their families within the country.
